Our Story
About Us
Founded in 2012, The Luxe Nomad was built on a simple idea - that booking a luxury villa should be easy. With an initial fundraising round of USD 200,000 from Tigris Capital in Singapore, Chief Nomad and Founder Stephanie Chai launched the company out of her apartment living room, along with a team of three humans and two cats (though the cats have since moved on!).
As the company evolved, so too have our vision and our goals. Known primarily as Asia-Pacific’s leading luxury villa booking portal, we expanded into villa management in late 2017. Today, we boast an exclusive collection of 85+ villas in Thailand and Indonesia; expanding The Luxe Nomad experience from booking to check-out.
At The Luxe Nomad, we believe in going ‘above and beyond’. Our exceptional reservations and on-the-ground concierge teams enjoy Excellent ratings from TrustPilot and TripAdvisor, and will ensure you never have to lift a finger while on your holiday.
When it comes to the ‘what to do’, our online magazine WanderLuxe and destination guides provide plenty of ideas: from the newest restaurant openings to the best in activities, plus exclusive offers and deals.
Last but not least, we believe in doing our part for the planet. In 2018 we said goodbye to plastic water bottles and straws, and have made a pledge to get rid of single-use plastic by 2020.
