Our Story

Welcome to SEEd.Lab

SEEd.Lab is short for Social Enterprise Education Lab. It is a social enterprise innovation hub powered by PETRONAS and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

SEEd.Lab aims to groom and develop groups of individual youths in setting up social enterprises that addresses social pain points in Malaysia, leveraging the power of technology and innovation.

How SEEd.Lab Works

SEEd.Lab is the first initiative of its kind in Malaysia which incorporates an end-to-end journey that spans over the essential stages of a start-up’s growth. For the next 12 to 18-months, the programme will take you through the Ideation, Incubation and Commercialisation stages – covering the basics from the ground up on establishing a sustainable social enterprise – with full support from PETRONAS and TCS.

At SEEd.Lab, we want to empower changemakers, push boundaries, enrich lives and nurture possibilities together, for a better tomorrow.

Mentorship

Access to mentors from PETRONAS, TCS, as well as the industry, academia, and government.

Grant Opportunity

SEEd.Lab will be providing a grant of up to RM50,000 per social enterprise incubated in Cohort 2.

Monthly Allowance

Get paid monthly to start your social enterprise. Every participant will receive a monthly allowance of up to RM3,000 throughout the programme.

Ideation

Go through the ideation process with coaches to address some of the most challenging problems faced by the community.

Incubation

Create a prototype of your solution (Minimum Viable Product) and validate it through refinement of user experience. Test with real target users.

Commercialisation

Define and execute a go-to-market plan and launch your social enterprise. Create visibility for venture capitalists eager to invest in your company.
