Complementing our state-of-the-art projection and audio technology such as Dolby Atmos in 3 locations, is our premium experience which can be enjoyed at our Platinum Movie Suites and Premier Class.  mmCineplexes is also keenly committed to providing new and refreshing  customer experiences such as launching the first Coca-Cola Freestyle in Malaysia.

 

mmCineplexes is fully owned by the mm2 Asia Ltd Group, a regional content producer with offices in Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and the United States. The Group entered the film exhibition scene with the acquisition of Cathay Cineplexes Malaysia and Mega Cinemas in 2015. The following year, thirteen Lotus Fivestar cinemas were added to the Group’s cinema operations, making it the 4th largest cinema operator in Malaysia. Following the acquisition of Cathay Cineplexes in Singapore in 2017, the Group is presently the only operator with cinemas in both Singapore and Malaysia, totalling 206 screens across 27 locations. In 2017, mm2 Asia Ltd became the first local film production company to be listed on the SGX-ST Mainboard.
