Arvato Systems is a leading international service provider that lives and breathes digital technology. There are more than 70,000 of us in over 40 countries today, designing and implementing customized solutions – covering areas such as digital marketing, financial services, customer relationship management, supply chain management, and IT services – for a wide range of business processes along integrated service chains. 

Arvato Systems Malaysia has been operating since 2005 and has been one of the key development hubs for its headquarter based in Germany. As a diverse and dynamic organization, we pivot on our agility as a group to provide effective and quality performance whilst emphasizing on work-life balance. As a business that truly values the welfare of our employees, we focus and promote work-life balance through various ways and measures to ensure and upkeep a high level of employee satisfaction throughout their career.

We are known for having 2 core values at a Group level which we truly believe in.

The first one would be on Creativity where we provide a home for our talents to promote creative development through continuous innovation and improvement, guide by customer needs and interests. The second core values would be on Entrepreneurship where we enable our employees to act with flexibility, responsibility, efficiency, coupled with entrepreneurial freedom.

To keep up with the business growth as we continue to evolve, we ran surveys and workshops to gather Arvatorian's input on realigning our core values. Through this meaningful activity, we were able to localised 6 applicable core values for our Malaysian team:

Respect - We respect each other's differences and work together to shape the future of our business.

Value Creation - We challenge the norm to unlock growth opportunities.

Agile - We collaborate to deliver business outcomes effectively and efficiently. 

Trust - We are honest, genuine, open, and ethical in guiding our actions and decisions.

Ownership - We are accountable and committed to uphold the company's vision, mission, and core values.

Therefore, who we bring in and how we involve and engaged them, accompanied by purposeful work scope, development opportunities and contributions beyond the normal work scope remains the key focus for success. The overall experience for our people matters, and we have witnessed it!

The core factor to sustain the above initiatives that sets out the desired culture for Arvato Systems Malaysia is in upholding a high degree of trust throughout the company, whether it is between peers, or between the employees and the supervisors. Thus, Arvato set about building a culture of trust that emphasizes work outcome rather than the number of hours one spends in the office.

The business strongly and truly cares not only our employees but their families as well. That is why some of the programs that the business has initiated is tailored and focus to allow the employee to give back to their families.

Along with that, Arvato Systems Malaysia is made up of 16 different nationalities which is why Diversity and Inclusion has always been a big focus.
