Job Description
- Responsible for overseeing and introducing technical vision to the company’s cloud computing strategy
- Convert requirements into an architecture and design blueprint for solution creation
- Understand business and technical challenges, functional and non-functional needs of proposed solution
- Set up cloud storage and computing systems
- Oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments
- Ensure systems abide by local law and regulations, as well as security policies
- Collaborate with engineers to come up with solutions to solve problems
- Provide accurate specifications according to which solution is defined, managed and delivered
Job Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry
- Good knowledge of operating system (Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, Windows), networking (TCP/IP addresses, HTTP, DNS) and programming or scripting language
- Understands security concepts (e.g. firewalls) is necessary
- Candidates with AWS, Google Cloud, MCSA/ MCSE certification are preferred
