Job Description
You will be tasked with enhancing the team’s ability to design, build, test, maintain and expand the company’s desktop and cloud-based software applications. Your main focus will be on the development of desktop application of our Geographic Information System (GIS) and providing problem-solving solutions to best suit the project objectives. You will get the opportunity to work on different technologies.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 3 - 6 years’ experience of programming using .Net framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant fields.
- Excellent understanding of OOP and Design Patterns. If you’re comfortable with SOLID, and know who Uncle Bob is, we’d like you around.
- Experience of developing in one or more object-oriented languages using .Net framework.
- Experience of Agile development methodologies. Any time running Kanban, Scrumban or the like can be considered.
- Working knowledge of RDBMS system (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc).
- Have some knowledge of distributed source control (E.g: Git)
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in GIS Implementation projects.
- Experience in Esri ArcGIS, and Esri Enterprise Administration.
- Experience with managing complex dependency chains within a sole solution
- Experience with maintaining and upgrading of legacy (WinForms) systems.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Deployment techniques.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
You must have a relevant university degree in computer science or related discipline, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience of hands-on software development. You will be required to display or describe your involvement in working within a team, detailing your contributions to that team and how they help the team succeed. You will require drive and passion for the products you work on, the team you work with and the desire for continual improvement.
Having GIS related experience, excellent mathematical skills and exposure to Agile Development methodology will give you a distinct advantage. You must also be proficient in verbal and written English.
