Job Description

• Ensure accurate processing of payroll earnings, deductions, garnishments, etc. and process payroll based on the fixed date every month.
• Perform monthly/quarterly submission service tax, SST or equivalent.
• Prepares full set of accounting by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Coordinate closely with 3rd party accounting, financial and auditing firms to assist on daily task.
• Handle day to day documentation of financial transactions, payment processing, invoicing and banking by entering account information into the system.
• Perform and process timely payments to vendors, service providers and statutory bodies including handling petty cash.
• Assist the company in payment collection for overdue debts including liaising with solicitors for recollection whenever necessary.
• Summarizes current financial status on a monthly or ad-hoc basis by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Coordinate and compile information for reporting to authorities, auditors and other interested parties.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist in performing claims, reimbursements, commissions, bonuses and dividend requests.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Assist in creating and/or improving accounting procedures by preparing and recommending systems, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in employee’s EPF, SOCSO, and PCB registrations while updating employees data in system religiously.
• Establish and maintain company’s and employee’s documents/records safely, ensuring all sensitive information are kept to the highest confidentiality
• Keep track of employees leaves in the system for payroll and attendance evaluation.
• Assist HR and perform any other task as assigned by management whenever required.

Job Requirements

• Familiar with accounting software (QNE is a plus) and operations including SST
• Meticulous and good with numbers
• Able to handle sensitive company information with highest confidentiality and integrity, without any prejudice
• Able to work well independently 
• Prior experience in Accounting and Payroll
• Excellent in written and spoken English (Proficiency in Chinese and BM is a plus)
