We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer who is ready to apply all the knowledge you have gathered to an authentic real-world experience.

What will you do?
  • Responsible for evaluating collected data, processing and analysing gathered data associated with business KPIs in order to drive improvements.
  • Retrieve, analyse, and transform data into creative, aesthetically-pleasing visualisations that provide insight in subject areas and invoke action.
  • Responsible for scripting data models, automating data feeds using analytics tools to help visualise data and various ad hoc projects.
  • Responsible to research and develop machine learning models as well as curating and improving the results delivered by the machine learning models.
  • Develop data mining, machine learning, statistical and graph-based algorithms designed to analyse large data sets for business insights.

Job Requirements

What will you need:
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related discipline.
  • Graduating students encouraged to apply (Masters / PHDs would be an advantage)
  • Must have hands-on experience with machine learning applied to NLP, image recognition or predictive analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Preferably familiar with applications such as ElasticSearch, Kibana, deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)
  • Deep understanding on Chatbot AI, such as DialogFlow and developing custom data visualization using Google Data Studio or D3.js is an added advantage.
  • Must possess strong passion in interrogating data and high expectation on intensive data wrangling and cleansing activities.
  • Candidate with experience and strong methodology in operationalising predictive models will be an added advantage.
  • A strong knowledge of statistics and data analysis with experience in machine learning techniques such as supervised/unsupervised learning, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning, deep learning.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python and Deep Learning algorithms is mandatory.
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS (Textract, Sagemaker)  and Google Cloud AI platforms are an added advantage.
  • A desire to research and utilise new and existing algorithms in data science and artificial intelligence in order to design, build and implement recommendation engines.
