Job Description
- To carry out product development work, develop experiment protocols with comprehensive study design, ensuring product formulation complying to company’s quality standard, safety assurance, intended product performance and stability requirement
- Proactively initiating study projects on new raw materials or system development to advance the category
- Lead and drive projects independently with minimal supervision
- Design process and perform process validation
- Establish manufacturing procedure, product, and raw material specification
- Provide technical support to production & quality department
- Provide ingredient list declaration on the pack and provide product information for claim support, product notification and halal application
- Protect the intellectual of company
- Maintenance of product development laboratory
Job Requirements
- BSc or M.Sc in Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cosmetic Science or its equivalent
- Project management, Priority Setting, Inquisitive, Perseverance, Innovation, Adaptability, Eye for details, Resourceful, Decision making
- Positive attitude, Independent, Proactive, Ready to coach, Open to new ideas
- Lead and drive project independently with minimal supervision
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in R&D inventing, developing and implementing new products, preferably in personal care industry
- Experience in Formulation Design and Study or development experience in cosmetic field
- Sensitive to FMCG market trend, new news in the market for relevant category
- Knowledge in the R&D Product Realization Process and ability to risk assess the process
- Good fundamentals in ISO 9001 and its principles
