Job Description
- Participate in new product development forum and provide technical recommendations, support promotion campaign, banding promotion and new design
- To establish packaging test methods
- To build SOP and cross function coordination to implement the process
- New packaging and design sourcing
- Conduct, execute and facilitate the process of new product development plan to meet required specification and regulations until the product completion stage or optimization of the existing product packaging
- Understand production processes and logistic system
- Recommend improvements to packaging specification
- Review and revise new or old specifications in accordance with feedback
- Strong planning and execution skills to develop robust development plan and cost estimates for initiatives
- Design and analyze packaging container strength to provide sufficient support and protection for the consumer goods throughout the transportation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Packaging, Bachelor Degree in Engineering Structural/Mechanical engineering or Bachelor Degree in Material Science
- Good command of English (both written and spoken)
- Strong project management skills to develop robust development plan and cost estimates for initiatives
- Ability to work in fast pace and collaborative environment. A Team Player
- Strong passion and enthusiasm in packaging design and development
- Knowledge in Laboratory Safety
- Knowledge in Solidworks, Autocard, Autodesk or any engineering drawing software would be an added advantage
- Willing to work at Kajang
