JOB DESCRIPTION:
As part of the Global Shared Service Centre (SSC) of Wilmar, we are looking for dynamic, customer service and quality minded team player to join our SSC continuous expansion in 2020. The position provides an opportunity to widely increase your accounting knowledge and expertise working for a well-known, fast growing SSC of a Fortune 500 company.
Responsibilities:

- Oversee end to end accounts payable activities, inclusive of invoice processing, payment, issue resolutions
- Ensure invoices are adequately authorized, and take ownership until invoice / employee expense claim/ GRIR are successfully and accurately processed
- Generate, review, verify and reconcile payment batch against vendor reports / bank reports / vendor invoices / employee claims
- Generate and review aged items, and proposed recommendation to site
- Follow up on open items and issues for closure
- Drive process improvement initiatives
- Lead, motivate and develop team members within the wider process team ensuring the team operates to the highest standard of financial controls, compliance and best practices
- Subject matter expert on AP processes with deep understanding on how the accounts payable is implemented and automated, together with all interdependencies with sub-ledgers
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess Accounting Degree or equivalent professional qualification
- 3-4 years working experience in the related field is required
- Candidate with SAP knowledge or working experience in SSC environment
- Candidate flexible to support different time zone (1pm-10pm, 5am-2pm)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to handle tight timeline
- Action oriented, with good analytical skills
