Job Description
Responsibilities
- Writing clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintained, and modular codes.
- Designing and maintaining databases.
- Building reusable codes and libraries for future use.
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
- Performing UI/backend tests to optimise performance.
- Adhering closely to development plans and anticipating changes to specifications or schedules as they become necessary during development.
- Working with project managers when gathering requirements, presenting work, etc. and be able to take complex technical terms and break them down into layman's terms.
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of working experience in website/system development with PHP.
- Excellent knowledge of Laravel framework and experience building factories/facades/libraries using abstract classes, interfaces, traits.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/MS SQL/PostgreSQL), database designing and query optimisation techniques. Experience in NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of public framework such as: jQuery, Node.js, Bootstrap,
- Knowledge of additional skills such as C#, SASS, HTML5 & CSS3 Interactive UI, JavaScript animation, SEO.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong team player who is collaborative and also able to carry out tasks independently.
