Job Description

The team:
Wave.ly is a team of growth hackers in the e-commerce domain. Whether it’s marketing, operations or technology, we are not afraid to experiment new tools and processes to improve the core tasks we have at hand. In such a lean team, all eyes will be on each person to do their job to the very best so that the team can always achieve greater heights as a whole.

**Salary Range: RM5000-6000. Tech portfolio is COMPULSORY**

The role:
  1. Design, implement and manage web apps that directly impact and help our marketing team hit millions in revenue.
  2. Experience end-to-end in technology, from conceptualization to implementation and delivery.
  3. Grow in an environment passionate about e-commerce.

Some previous projects & what we are working on:
  1. Fulfilment solution that allows sellers to process orders across multiple webstore at scale.
  2. Checkout solution that allows marketers to run A-B tests on their sales funnels.
  3. Maintain other scripts that for different purposes to help either fulfilment or checkout sales conversion.

Job Requirements

Qualities we are looking for:
  1. 2+ years of experience in web or software development work.
  2. Experience working with Laravel must not be afraid working with the command line on Linux/Unix systems.
  3. Demonstrable understanding in at least one pillar of web development (e.g. testing, architecture, database, devops, etc.).
  4. Demonstrable experience shipping web applications to production.
  5. Comfortable working independently without much supervision.

  1. Laravel, with Forge and Vapor
  2. VueJS, ReactJS
  3. MySQL, MongoDB
  4. AWS - Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, RDS, EC2
  5. CSS Preproccessors: Sass
