Job Description

At Wave.ly, we are building a team of engineers to hack and build creative solutions in the digital marketing space, both for internal use and client-facing use. We are always looking for smart, driven people who care about designing, developing, testing and deploying high-quality work consistently to join our team in Kota Damansara, Selangor.

As growth hackers, we value the character and mindset of the candidate more than anything else. We are looking for people who either have vast experience in a multitude of tools or people who have in-depth knowledge in a particular area. You will be joining a team of experts who are familiar with PHP, AWS, Javascript, MySQL using frameworks such as Laravel, Angular and React.

Some previous projects & what we are working on:

Fulfilment solution that allows sellers to process orders across multiple webstore at scale.
Checkout solution that allows marketers to run A-B tests on their sales funnels.
Customised reservation PDF generation and tracking for a diving school.

Job Requirements

Qualities we are looking for:

2+ years of experience in web or software development work.
An additional skill set that complements our current stack (e.g. Java, Elixir, Python, etc.).
Demonstrable understanding in at least one pillar of web development (e.g. testing, architecture, database, devops, etc.).
Demonstrable care for code quality, documentation, testing and thoroughness of each implementation.
Comfortable working in a team, including remote workers.
Comfortable with occasional debates and technical probing, able to articulate ideas and feedback in a pragmatic manner.
