Job Description
As the Marketing & Communications Executive for Wanderlust + Co, you will create and execute powerful visuals and content, to our global audience of accessories lovers. You are responsible for executing on-point digital content, maintaining a consistent look and feel in line with the brand’s voice and growth plans. You will understand the brand’s launch calendar, creating strategic content plans in line with new product launches and sale campaigns, ensuring a seamless customer journey across social media and digital channels.
This role will hone your skills in managing brand marketing content and assets, whilst achieving revenue and KPI targets. You will work hand in hand with the Marketing Director and Assistant Marketing Manager to optimize revenue, grow traffic and conversion via strategic content placements, and prompt communication within the team.
You will possess an exceptional command of English and good creative writing skills, as well as the ability to operate creatively and effectively. The right candidate will thrive at thinking outside the box, understand the brand’s identity, and be able to connect social content, relationships and opportunities to increase brand awareness and conversion.
To excel, you should be experienced and love social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest etc), enjoy story telling via campaigns, with acute attention to detail and genuine interest to be a team player.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to) –

- Create fresh campaigns and engaging content assets that will drive business impact – growing an engaged millennial online community via interesting and creative social media moments
- Understand collection stories/campaigns and create purposeful content pitches and ideas, to drive brand awareness on independent social platforms, funnel quality traffic to site, increase direct revenue and cultivate an engaged global #WCOgirlgang
- Well versed with Photoshop, Illustrator, and the like – in order to see creative ideas through from moodboard, to completion
- Manage social media channels to ensure marketing moments are well represented and shared with our audience (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest etc) to increase visibility, engagement and brand awareness
- Work alongside design team with content/product shoots, lookbooks, and any other visual projects in line with key trends, and the brand’s identity

- Align across departments to ensure timely and strategic content placement, support brand campaigns, launches and marketing initiatives, leveraging on online metrics to support ad-hoc improvements and business decisions.
- Copywriting in line with the brand’s voice and identity (e.g. general social captions, newsletters, web copy for products and banners)
- Track and report social media related analytics to ascertain content engagement levels

- Working alongside Customer Service team to respond to social media comments in a timely and accurate manner in alignment with brand voice to elevate brand identity and awareness.
- Assist with communications and liaison with wholesale/B2B partners, and influencers for product seeding, general launches and strategic placement in line with collection goals
