• To develop a functional web application on Laravel based web platform, maintain and constantly enhance and develop new features and capabilities on the main web application. 
• To be responsible as the main software engineer to design and develop the entire web application from the ground up. 
• Design, Build, Customise and Maintain MySQL database.
• Map out high-level architectural design, workflow, implementation planning and scheduling of the system development. 
• Opportunity to develop and lead the System Development Department within the organization as the company expands and grow. 
• To work closely with in-house front-end developer(s) with the aim to achieve the best user experience and constantly promote user-friendliness throughout the development of the web application.
• To equip with the appetite for new technologies and methodologies to enhance overall performance and capabilities through effective implementation of new technologies and tools.
• Must equip with Web Services experiences; experience working with AWS will be a plus.
• Must equip with the needed working experience in split-billing mechanisms and integration with payment gateways.
• Customize, improve, and build upon our backend REST API.
• Refactor existing code based on new functionality requirements and to improve scalability, testability, and maintainability of the system.
• Write and execute automated test programs to perform constant comprehensive stress tests on the system. 
• Monitor performance and adopt the best technology stack (server, application code, and database) to identify bugs, enhance performance and track key metrics. 
• Actively participate in design and architecture decisions with the management team. 

• Write clean, scalable code using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular JS programming languages
• Responsible to upkeep the front end system to be constantly up-to-date with the available technology, terminology, concepts and best practices in maintaining and developing web apps
• Responsible to develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
• Use and adapt existing web applications for apps
• Create and test software prototypes
• Develop client displays and user interfaces
• Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements
• Coordinate with other software professionals and developers

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience using a PHP framework 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field 
• Exceptional knowledge and skills in Laravel framework (MVC)
• 3+ years of professional experience using a relational database system (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with advanced web application features such as notifications, events, sending mail, etc.
• Created or managed production REST API’s that are consumed and used by real customers.
• Experience writing automated tests (unit, feature, API, integration, etc.)

• 2+ years of professional experience with Laravel
• 2+ years of professional experience with MySQL
• Experience developing with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• AWS infrastructure development (Especially for EC2, RDS)
• Unix infrastructure development (Ubuntu)
• Experience with Facebook or Google APIs
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS
• Experience managing large datasets
• Demonstrate knowledge of web technologies including PHP, MS SQL/MySQL, Angular JS, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, bootstrap and JavaScript/JQuery
• Full-stack development 

• Familiarity with the  Angular JS, HTML5, CSS,  MySQL , and design/architectural patterns e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
• At least 2 year of development experience using JavaScript, Angular JS framework.
• Knowledge of at least one of the and HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Knowledge of REST APIs
• Able to work well in a team setting
