About The Job

You’ll be driving the success of our development teams by ensuring that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track for our customers. Here is what you’ll be doing:

  • Understand stakeholder needs (involves in product design and development)
  • Identify opportunities and define product vision and strategy
  • Define project scopes, goals, deliverables and timeline estimations (short intervals)
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Implement agile methodologies in planning and implementation
  • Monitor and track updates and performance, report on project progress
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Implement and manage change whenever necessary to meet project outputs
  • Explore and recommend techniques for project performance KPIs, metrics, and tools.
  • Manage team sprints, retrospectives, other meeting and customer demos
  • Evaluate and assess result of project
  • Plan and communicate release information
  • Create budget estimations and ensure expectations of the Board of Directors and Stakeholders are met

Job Requirements

The Software Development Manager works as a coach and facilitator for the team, helping each member to improve their performance. 

Being an important link between customers, development team and superiors, you would need to have:
  1. Excellent communication & facilitation skills
  2. Ability to understand product owner’s requirements
  3. Ability to design the best solution
  4. Ability to solve the problems promptly
  5. Ability to understand team’s weaknesses and capabilities
  6. High business, emotional, and decency intelligence
  7. Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
  8. Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Natural coaching abilities to continuously follow up with project partners.
  10. Passionate in solving business owners' / SME’s problems 

The background we’re looking for:
  1. Experienced in Project Management and exposure of Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
  2. Excitement and passion for project management
  3. Proven ability to build trust and strong relationships with a variety of personalities.
  4. Software development background
