The position will also liaise with Malaysia sales team to establish and manage the budget to execute the B2B Channel Marketing strategy/plans throughout the year, ensuring it is used to maximum effect, major investments to be based on ROI plan.
B2B and B2C Digital Marketing
Liaise with APAC HQ (in Taiwan) to Develop and manage digital campaigns/SEO, generating leads and implementing strategies to drive new business, overseeing social media Face as well as creating and executing CRM and Email strategy.
Copy Writing & Design
- Content Marketing; take full responsibility for creating B2C content with ownership for strategy, planning and execution.
- Create content for social media flyers, landing pages / microsites, web banners and emails to be used by the channel and sales team.
E-Newsletters
Create and send e-newsletter to build customer relationships and increase leads.
B2B Channel Marketing
- Develop relationships with channel partners and maximize the marketing budget with them.
- Attend quarterly meetings with the top eight channel partners.
- Allocate and manage the Malaysia Marketing budget.
- Create content and provide information for marketing campaigns. Ensure implementation of plans, and carry out reviews.
- Collect quarterly ROI reports and arrange payments
- Regularly review the marketing spend and ROI (sales and profit per dollar of marketing spend)
- Work with Etailers to secure additional promotions and secure our place at the top of their pages
- Update the key customer websites so that all new product information is available at the launch date
Product Marketing
- Work with product marketing team to ensure that key messages are being communicated to the sales team and the channel
- Build monthly channel marketing plans/campaigns with product marketing and sales. Keep the Head of Region updated on a monthly basis
Events, PR & Advertising
- Organise layouts, stands and budgets when exhibiting at distributor/ reseller events.
- Create proposals for PR, events and advertising with the overall aim of raising the profile of ViewSonic
- Work with PR agency to communicate press releases, organise press events and ensure new and focus products are reviewed with the aim of increasing the number of awards (4*) and reviews
