Senior Consultant / Manager, SAP Service Delivery

About The Job

  • Lead and drive SAP service delivery capacity planning and resource augmentation to support various SAP system improvement initiatives
  • Drive continuous knowledge transfer process and prepare transition plan for new SAP application support project / initiatives.
  • With support from centre of excellence lead to manage and facilitate the Change Governance Model, and chair the Change Approval Boards with Function Owners, Process Drivers and Process Owners for the review, approval and prioritization of all enhancements into the SAP platform, ensuring that process and system Asia regional template standards are adhered to across all brands and countries.
  • Plan and execute minor and major enhancement release working with service partner / internal IT team.
  • People development management and provide necessary career direction
  • Identify and define customer needs, stay informed about processes and needs regarding delivery of operational services; define the required service levels and conditions for delivering services, in order to fulfill wishes and demands of the user organization.
  • Ensure insight into costs and benefits of SAP products and services, in accordance with Service Level Agreements, in order to make timely proposals for improving the use, management or reduction of costs.
  • Establish and refine existing service operation metrics, KPI’s to drive continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Ensure proper use of authorizations, in line with internal guidelines and procedures, in order to secure proper use of the system.
  • Act as SAP subject matter expert, enabler and facilitator in offering SAP solutions to users.
  • Facilitate review of all functional change requests with business Process Owners, ensuring that requests are completely estimated and include support collateral for approval in monthly CAB meetings

Job Requirements

  • Deep SAP service delivery experience supporting large scale business groups with diverse domain knowledge such as finance, supply chain, logistics and retail.
  • Strong interpersonal and managerial skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Good team player/team spirit
  • Proficiency and fluency in spoken and written English is required, proficiency in mandarin is a plus to communicate with Mandarin-speaking users
  • Functional expertise: one or more SAP module, including SAP Finance, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP CAR functional or technical expertise, GRC experience is a plus
  • SAP experiences would be a must
  • Candidates with strong people management experiences will be considered for Manager title
