Job Description

Japanese speaking Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for Japanese speaking business users who interact with Service Desk. Service Desk is covering support on desktop, laptop, IP phone, network, business applications and so on. While providing a high level of customer satisfaction, Service Desk Analysts are responsible for resolving incidents and requests in a timely manner, collaborate with different support groups to fulfill business users needed. Service Desk Analyst must have a good balance of technical skills as well as communication skills with business users.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
  • Provide first-level technical support to internal users and external customers via email, phone and chat within the agreed timeline
  • Create / maintain / review all reported IT incidents and requests in I.T. management ticketing system
  • Create / maintain / review operational documentations and knowledge articles
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any IT related problems or failures by phone, email and chat as many as possible, reassign the ticket to appropriate support groups if needed
  • Responsible for hardware / software installation coordination, collaborate with local / global support teams when necessary
  • Always communicate with business users in polite manner
  • Communicate, coordinate and escalate problems to various I.T. support teams, business owners, service managers across different regions
  • Escalate and report any emergency cases to different functional teams
  • Due to the job nature, job will be required to work in different shifts, sometimes, may also require working beyond the routine office hours and/or weekends or holidays

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • Have working experience as tier 1 and tier 2 in End User Services / Service Desk teams
  • Windows 7/10 and Macintosh administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge in Active Directory, VPN, Unity, Zoom, Adobe, Microsoft O365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and etc
  • Knowledge in ServiceNow ticketing system and able to view / create / resolve tickets
  • Ability to troubleshoot / resolve IT issues remotely via Proxy Air, SCCM, Zoom, Teams and RDP
  • Able to work independently and liaised with global teams
  • Be a self-learner, a team player and able to work in different environment
  • Excellent analytical and problems solving skills
  • Occasionally required to work or join meeting during non-office hours
  • Japanese language fluency (both written and spoken) is a must to communicate with Japanese speaking business users
  • Candidates with Mandarin and Cantonese language fluency will be preferred to communicate with Mandarin and Cantonese speaking business users
