Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for electrical design of automation equipment and visual inspection system.
- Prepare and update product documentation, e.g. diagram, schematics, detailed cable drawing, BOM, etc.
- Perform component selection, sourcing and material request.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulation for design verifications.
- Work closely with customer to ensure electrical design comply to customer’s EHS or safety requirement.
- Involve in wiring and setup of automation equipments, jigs and fixtures.
- Test and debug automation equipments, jigs and fixtures.
- Perform equipments setup, commissioning and buyoff on-site.
- Work with production team to qualify wiring and setup of automation equipments and visual inspection system.
- Sustaining of existing product portfolio.
- Ensure proper documentation throughout the entire design and development processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to meet cost, timeline and performance requirements.
- Innovate to achieve breakthrough and continuous improvement in both products and processes.
- Liaise and coordinate with supplier to ensure cost, lead-time and quality of products/services purchased are met.

- Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in electrical & control system design skill.
- Hands on wiring experience. Knowledge on electrical and control components.
