Job Description

• Establish the credit risk management framework. 
• Establishing and quantifying the company's credit risk appetite. 
• Responsible for the data capturing for credit risk management. 
• Develop, review and enhance the credit policy. 
• Reporting on the key risks and propose the mitigation plan to the management team. 
• Monitor and ensure the key indicators are within the agreed threshold. 
• Proactively identify problem segments as well as opportunities using data. 
• Drive the adoption of the machine learning credit scoring using nontraditional data sources. 

Job Requirements

•   A degree in business administration in either of Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics /Statistics or any related field. 
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the Credit Risk Management, focusing on retail. 
• Candidates from financial services e.g banking, finance leasing will be added advantage. 
• Strong understanding of Credit analysis and policies. 
• Good understanding of Risk Management principles.
• Good understanding of Basel III and evolving regulatory guidelines in this space
• Possess strong problem-solving skills (hypothesis-driven thinking, analytical, quantitative, conceptual skills) 
• Thorough understanding of the evolving practices for the management of credit risk and regulatory requirements 
• Capable of professional discussions with internal and external stakeholders
