Job Description

We are looking for ONE dedicated person to join our team to help grow our Advertising Agency Business. Your primary role will be to work closely with our clients, and together with the agency team to create and manage social media content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and managing social calendars and content across social media platforms
  • Creating relevant and engaging content for our client's social media and/or digital channels such as websites/emails/blogs
  • Participate in daily conversations with consumers of our client’s social media and digital channels. A community manager to interact and build bonds with page audience. 
  • Analyse social media metrics for the improvement of brand engagement and brand loyalty for our clients.
  • Collaborate with team members within the agency to manage social media channels for our clients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Copywriting for brands’ banners, adverts, and other social media-related materials.
  • Proposal and idea creation for prospective clients.
  • Managing clients’ requests and queries for social media accounts.
  • Identify and develop social media strategies for clients to improve their social media performance.
  • Understanding clients’ requirements and prepare briefs for the client and agency’s perusal.
  • Ensuring clients’ requirements and expectations are met and achieved on time.
  • Ideating for clients’ photoshoots. 
  • Willing to attend clients’ events for live social media coverage. 
  • Familiar in using SEO techniques to increase traffic.  

Job Requirements

Here are the requirements we are looking for in our Senior Social Media Executive. 

  • Degree in preferably in communications or Media (Mass Comm, Corporate Comm, Media Studies) 
  • Adequate experience in social listening. 
  • 2- or 5-year experience min.
  • Adept in using various social media platforms – preferably with experience or knowledge of social media management tools (eg Hootsuite, Buffer, Facebook insights).
  • Ability and interest in identifying current and growing social media trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – liaising with both clients and with team members within the agency. 
  • Basic photography skills is preferred.  
  • A strong understanding of SEO usage. 
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Malay, 
  • Preferably with knowledge on advertising processes or content creation for online media 

Passionate, creative, dedicated & a team player with strong self-management skills and ability to manage multiple social media accounts.
