Job Description

We are an independent digital media company delivering education and entertainment news to millions of Malaysians.

We’re looking for a Media sales manager for our Malay language beauty portal. The potential candidate should preferably have worked in the beauty magazine or website in the sales role with experience dealing with cosmetic, fashion and health products. Experience dealing with media agencies is preferred.

If you have worked in the media sales role in the traditional media and looking to transition to a digital sales role, this will be a good opportunity for you. We will provide training in digital media sales, search engine optimisation, social media and analytics.

If you are highly motivated, possess excellent communications skills and relishes challenges, this is the job for YOU!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Prospecting

Actively seek out sales opportunities through media agency networking, cold calling, media monitoring, networking and events to grow prospects list and build opportunities to pitch for advertisers.

Closing Sales

Research and prepare presentations for sales meeting
Close sales and meet monthly sales target

Onboard Client
Work with related internal stakeholders to ensure the deliverables to clients are met
Assist communication between internal teams and the client where needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have Sales and Business Development experience dealing with advertisers and media agencies in the women beauty, health and fashion industry
At least two (2) years working experience dealing with relevant advertisers and media agencies
Stay abreast of current beauty trends and news with a strong passion for the beauty industry.
If you have digital sales experience in this industry, it will be an added advantage.
If you don’t have digital sales experience but have the required sales experience within the women beauty, health and fashion industry, please apply as training will be provided.
Candidates must possess their own transportation.
