About The Job

  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast).
- Make regular visit to outlets to capture live stories
- Monitor, listen and respond to the audience in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Oversee design (ie: Social media graphics for Instagram, Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, website, Blog, etc.).
- Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns
- Create and manage an online review funnel for building online review and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review timely and with care.
- Analyse key metrics and tweak strategy as needed
- Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Work closely with our Product Development team and designers to create an effective marketing campaign.
  • Develop organisational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximise results.
  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
  • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
  • Leverage the right tools to manage your content. 
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
  • Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising/Media/English/Creative Writing/Broadcasting/Journalism Others or equivalent.
  • At least 18 months of Social Media Marketing experience on major social media platforms 
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. 
  • Displays the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, still image and video format.
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side. 
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
  • Practices superior time management.
  • Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other team members when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrate the ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
  • Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Has own transport to travel for work.

Our first cafe "THIRDWAVE" was established in Bangsar South in 2013, focusing on specialty coffee & brunch food. Based on the decision of the company to diversity our food service; we have now ventured into dessert market, hence the birth of "KAKIGORI"- a Japanese specialty shaved ice bar in October 2016. We have rebranded KAKIGORI to KAKIYUKI in July 2019. Now, there are 5 KAKIYUKI outlets in Klang Valley, 1 outlet in Penang, and an upcoming outlet in Johor Bahru. 

The company also launched our first overseas outlet in San Francisco, USA in August 2019, progressively making our way to becoming an international lifestyle cafe chain. 

In March 2019, we successfully launched a new Japanese inspired specialty coffee cafe, focuses on western-influenced Japanese cooking & great dessert.  Watch this brand to take over some coolest neighbourhoods near you soon!
