Job Description

The Sales Managers role is primarily to manage a sales team to achieve the company's sales target and at the same time be responsible for the roles below:

  1. Assist in drawing up marketing plans to grow the company's brand awareness presence within the industry.
  2. To manage a sales team by motivating, leading and assisting them with their daily sales activities
  3. To ensure smooth running for daily events by working closely with the operations team by giving clear guideline's to venue set up style, clients event details and to ensure that all department involved with the event is briefed clearly.
  4. Identify new market segments and business opportunities to increase sales
  5. Establish and maintain good rapport with new clients, existing clients and guests.
  6. To work closely with marketing department to come up with monthly promos to attract new customers and retain existing customers. Such promos are festive promos, customer loyalty promos, etc etc.
  7. To ensure sales team adhere's to the company's sales SOP and to also improvise and modify the SOP to further improve our productivity and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  1. Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  2. Candidate must posses a minimum of Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
  3. Posses own transport
  4. Strong Interpersonal skills
  5. Candidate must be able to work independently 
  6. Embraces a fast paced working environment with high level of customer service.
  7. Candidate must have vast experience in managing a sales team to achieve the company's sales target and objective.
  8. Passionate and have good understanding on the event industry and project management.
  9. Able to work under pressure and manage several projects at the same time with tight datelines.
  10. Embraces change and in constant pursuit of self improvement and new challenges.
  11. Having prior experience in the hospitality, banquet, and events industry is an added advantage.
  12. Candidate that has a positive attitude and open mind.
  13. Candidate must be able to carry themselves confidently and have the ability to get along with people easily and posses good PR.
  14. The candidate has strong business acumen
  15. The candidate has an established database of corporate clients.
  16. To hold weekly review session with each individual sales staff to go through their prospects and to mentor and advise them accordingly.
  17. Candidate must be digital savvy and have a clear understanding of how digital marketing works as the company is digitally driven.
