Job Description
You will be responsible to plan and carry out general accounting, financial, and operational reviews of a number of small businesses where you will be directly involved in some of the decision-making and strategic objectives.
- Prepare full set of accounts (routine and ad hoc engagements) and perform month-end closing in a timely manner.
- Prepare bank reconciliation and monitor daily bank balances.
- Prepare monthly management reports and other accounts related matters.
- Assist in audit and tax preparation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.
- Performing day to day accounting operations.
- Provide support and guidance to both clients and staff in the use of cloud accounting software.
- Assist in any other assignment or special projects as required.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification eg. ACCA, CPA.
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in handling a full set of accounts.
- Experience in handling a portfolio of clients in a public accounting firm will be an advantage.
- Experience in the use of cloud accounting software (Xero) will be an advantage.
- Initiative to resolve challenges faced, committed, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong hands-on knowledge in Microsoft Office (emphasis on MS Excel & MS Word).
