Job Description


  1. To plan and execute effective media communications and public relations initiatives to support the Foundation’s communications strategies. 
  2. To manage effective internal and external communications for the Foundation. 
  3. To monitor, track and recommend on emerging issues in the media affecting the Foundation’s public standing. 
  4. To coordinate and manage all print and electronic publications including the Foundation’s websites, bulletins, annual reports, advertisements, etc. 
  5. Developing new and imaginative fundraising activities, many of which involve organising events such as yearly gala dinner.  
  6. Raising awareness of the charity and its work at local and national levels, e.g. by organising talks to groups or seeking opportunities with the media.  
  7. Developing and coordinating web-based fundraising, online fundraising and e-media.  
  8. Developing and implementing a strategy for individual and corporate to assist fundraising & CSR for the Foundation.  
  9. Writing applications and mail-shots, using direct mailing to reach a wide range of potential and current donors.  
  10. Develop and manage the production of events' marketing collateral and ensuring that deadlines are met, supporting fundraisers with collaterals.
  11. Handle and coordinate all media requests and enquiries in a timely manner.
  12. Develop and create media releases, press kits, key messages, media FAQs, speeches, and presentations where required. Co-ordinate and management of events. 
  13. Updating of Foundation's Website and Social media such as Facebook and  Instagram.
  14. Performs related work as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication/ Public Relations in a related industry.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in the relevant field.

Skills/Personal: Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing;

Qualities: Drive, competence, flexibility and a willingness to learn;
: The ability to cope with pressure under tight deadlines;
: Creativity, imagination and initiative;
: Good teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills;
: Business awareness and a good knowledge of current affairs;
: Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.

KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills & Ability): Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including the understanding  of social media and design software, public speaking, emceeing, event management, strong network relationship in the media and publicity circle and good interpersonal skills.
