Job Description

  • Analyse internal processes, recommend & implement procedures & policy ensuring control & efficient work flow within the Foundation.
  • Prepare Financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow planning.
  • Ensure  all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to submissions for funding, for grant aid, for contracts and any other initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations in respect of financial and other matters  e.g: registration, taxation and banking matters.
  • Ensure compliance with the foundation’s policies and guidelines and donor’s requirement.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating project & events.
  • Monitor, control & analyse the financials of fundraising projects.
  • Regularly visit field sites e.g: Homes, Schools and Libraries for monitoring and audit purposes.
  • To supervise overall administration in  logistics, purchasing, equipment, procurement, IT services and maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • Substantial demonstrable understanding and experience of finance management within an NGO. 
  • Strong demonstrable ability to introduce and manage changes to Finance systems, procedures and practices.
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English & Malay.
  • Must be a team player and proactive within the team.
