Job Description
This position will oversee the Made by Bowery brand, The Bowery Group’s catering and hospitality business which works closely with clients to produce bespoke dining experiences and catered events. You will help manage the daily sales effort of Made by Bowery and function as a business partner with all areas of the company that are impacted by the Made by Bowery brand.
- Be the first responder to events enquiries
- To review upcoming events, prepare quotations, Banquet Event Invoices (BEIs) and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Lead and assist with all internal and external events
- Cultivate strong client relationships / partnerships to establish rapport, set up meetings and ensure 100% client satisfaction
- Assist in direct marketing strategies and planning to reinforce brand positioning, product positioning, product pricing and market penetration
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
- Update and maintain customer marketing database
- Enhances reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English and Malay
- Fluency in Chinese and other languages is a plus
- Fluent with Microsoft Word business applications
- Attention to detail
- Good timekeeping / punctuality is a must
- Socially adept with great interpersonal skills
- Collaborative team player
- Hard worker and willing to work long hours when the business requires
- Ability to cope under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
- Passionate about the Lifestyle and F&B sectors
- Hospitality background is a plus
