About The Job

What’s a typical day as a Business Development Manager?
  • Reach out to potential clients for new business opportunities & leads.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to develop any potential prospects.
  • Evangelizes Product & Solution business values and technical benefits to senior level business and technology decision makers.
  • Engaging potential customers through presentation, email, or calls
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales team for developing Sales Strategies
  • Execution of sales strategies through targeting key clients, identifying key decision makers and leverage opportunities to promote and sell products and services.
  • Planning and execution of marketing activities within budget allocations in alignment with business plan.
  • Managing the utilization of various principals funding within respective guidelines.
  • Support digital initiatives, manage, and implement effective campaigns/programs in alignment with product business plans.
  • Working with creatives in copywriting, design, and layout to produce branded marketing materials for all product marketing campaigns.

What will be your responsibilities as a Business Development Manager?
  • Achieve and attempt to exceed sales revenue targets for the assigned Product Principals in this highly competitive marketplace.
  • Organize and manage the sales campaigns and assist with internal marketing efforts designed to increase new sales.
  • Effectively build and optimize long term, sustainable and profitable relationships with product principals.
  • Business Development (Green Field) in the various targeted market and segment focus
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products differentiation values.
  • Be the Product Business Manager field resource to customers and sales team
  • Submits accurate and timely forecasts that are aligned with assigned sales quotas. Forecast sales revenue on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Responsible for MDF request, and compilation of POE (Proof of Execution) for MDF claim submissions.
  • Provides leadership and technology knowledge to customers, maintains appropriate presence in the technology industry community.

Job Requirements

What is needed to be successful?
  1. Good at collaborating, communicating and making things happen. 
  2. Good in client management and would value add if experienced in customer service.
  3. Need to be a high-energy, motivated self-starter, and results oriented.
  4. Possesses at least a Diploma or Degree preferably in Business Administrative or Computer /Information Technology fields.
  5. Ability to converse and articulate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  6. Preferably 3 year(s) of working experience in high-tech or service-related industry with preferred successful IT solution experience
  7. Experienced in Solution Selling with emphasis on strong account/territory management preferred into large enterprise customer segment
  8. Candidates must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
  9. Solid problem solving and consultative skills

Ideally candidates to have the following working experience knowledge:
  a. IT Infrastructure Solutions – Servers, Data Storage Systems, Networking
  b. Data Centre Virtualization Solutions – VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat
  c. Cloud technologies – AWS, Ali Cloud, and Azure will be added advantage 
  d. Valid Certification in related specialization or Product Principals would be added advantages
