Supplycart Tech team is on a mission to develop an e-Procurement platform for SMEs that is both beautiful & functional.
What’s the opportunity?
We are looking for an intern who can commit a minimum of 3 to 6 months so that they can fully immerse themselves in our AGILE development approach.
The team consists of 10 diverse individuals from different backgrounds:
- Self taught coders
- International experiences
- 1 Head of Product with Global experience
What will I be doing?
- Opportunity to delve into PHP Laravel, AngularJS, VueJS and DevOps
- Be part of the AGILE development process & product requirements discussion
- Support the FE or BE team in tasks that contribute towards our Sprint goals
- Learn to communicate clearly with Tech team members and relevant stakeholders
Learn how plan and define tasks - involving understanding complexity and estimate time to completion - Code in a structured manner, using Unit Test Method and based on documented requirements
- Learn the importance of documenting APIs
- Debug effectively & efficiently
Job Requirements
Essential :
- Discipline in planning, structuring & documenting your work
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of initiatives
- Attitude toward getting things done while maintaining a regard for code quality
- A good balance of tackling new problems yourself to learn and knowing when to seek guidance and help
- Good communication skills
- Experience with Git and understand Git workflow
- Demonstrable interest in PHP, MySQL, VueJS or AngularJS
- Having a portfolio of prior work (e.g. Github) for our review will be a huge plus
- Loves cats!
