Job Description

In this role, you'll be expected to:
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and improve important operational policies, procedures, action plans, timelines, and strategy decisions for the effective running of the company.
  • Enforce the team’s compliance with operational policies and procedures, action plans, and timelines.
  • Work with the senior management team to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, invoicing, financial reporting, and auditing. Examine financial data and use them to prepare recommendations for improved profitability.
  • Manage inventory, storage, and shipping.
  • Implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations particularly those that will complement the company’s operational expansion and automation of systems.
  • Support and coordinate team communication and manage the maintenance of shared drives.
  • Assist Human Resources with recruiting, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
  • Set by example and promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale as per the Sunago’s Culture Code.
  • Complete all reporting activities accurately and on time.

Job Requirements

The following skillsets and traits are essential:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Good understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership ability
