Job Description

• The data scientist will be responsible for design and development of machine learning models based on unstructured and Structured Data.
• Contribute to the building of an enterprise virtual assistant platform that provides conversational experience to end users.
• Support IT backends in maintaining Restful API for virtual assistant.
• Provide data, insights and reporting support to various teams from large SQL database.
• Work with technical and non-technical customers to design solutions and can communicate statistical results linking to business outcomes.
• Drive collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources.
• Timely Deliver solutions as required after several rounds of customization.
• Maintain quality and accuracy of model solutions during the deployments.

Job Requirements

1. Industrial experience building NLP pipelines for virtual assistants
2. Experience in solving AI-powered virtual assistants problems in a limited training data environment
3. Familiarity with building and operationalising machine learning models or data science tools in a large scale production environment
4. Hands on experience in building and implementing advanced statistical analysis and machine learning and data mining
5. Prepare high-level design based on functional and technical specifications and map business requirement to functional specification
6. Be able to report data analytic results to management and non-technical teams
7. Hands on experience in pulling data out from SQL database to do further data science analysis
8. Expert coder in Linux, Python, SQL, NLP libraries and RestFUL API linkage to server backend
9. Experience in dating/mobile app industry is advantageous
