In the Logistics Manager role, you'd be responsible for managing our network of 3PLs and riders, as well as developing new networks and processes based on data analysis. For this role, you’d need a solid background in operations and a strong interest in meeting customer expectations in a demanding tech environment.
You don’t need to be an expert or know everything about our industry (even we don’t!). But the work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. So, we’re looking for someone with a curious mind, a strong drive to make things happen, and a passion to keep improving yourself.
Requirements
What you will do:
- Anticipate and plan for delivery surges as well as potential breakdowns (3PL risk and resource management).
- Deep dive into data in order to track performance and issues, then share insights with key stakeholders to ensure streamlined processes and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement logistics solutions related to capacity planning, 3PL management, and service delivery KPI to ensure that deliveries are on-time and within SLA.
- Create schedules, coordinate the different groups of riders/dispatchers, and monitor their delivery SLA.
- Liaise and lead negotiations with logistics partners to enhance service levels, maintain optimal costs, review logistics contract clauses, develop new networks, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Apply continuous process and system innovation, and justify new services to ensure logistics competitiveness.
- Lead and train groups of riders and dispatcher in order to achieve targets, SLA, and customer satisfaction.
