In the Head of People role, you’re a business partner to the management team, a strong operator when it comes to all things HR, and a people leader who drives company culture and our core values. You will oversee the end-to-end spectrum of HR matters and champion our professional sports team culture. You’d be responsible for running robust HR processes across the full employee life cycle as we continue to deliver our best work to support 15,000 businesses across South East Asia.
You don’t need to be an expert or know everything about our industry (even we don’t!). But the work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. So, we’re looking for someone with a curious mind, a strong drive to make things happen, and a passion to keep improving yourself.
Job Requirements
What you will do:
- Partner with the management team to make well-informed decisions and solve critical HR issues.
- Lead and develop the People team’s capabilities to support the rapid growth of the business.
- Develop a roadmap for greater talent acquisition, talent retention, strategic hires, and mid-level management growth. Lead the end-to-end recruiting process.
- Build and govern scalable core operational HR processes to provide a great employee experience, such as hiring, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, payroll, offboarding, reporting and other administrative services.
- Help to keep everyone engaged with the organization’s values and business direction, create systems to engage with employees and develop a feedback loop with the management team.
- Own the governance of processes and policies in regards to performance reviews, performance improvement, growth, promotion, rewards and compensation.
- Advise on labour-related matters such as disciplinary and behavioural issues.
What you will need to have:
- A successful track record of strategic HR leadership in a high growth, fast-paced environment, across multiple countries in the SEA region.
- Ability to strike a balance between business goals and people’s needs.
- Ability to execute on present challenges with a forward-thinking mindset to prepare for scale in the future.
- Expertise in organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- In-depth understanding of local HR employment compliance and functions.
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills based on facts and data.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Expertise in building trusting relationships with leaders at all levels.
