Job Description
PURPOSE
Star Glory Group is an exciting and fast-growing profitable group of companies and has businesses that specialises in selling duty free products and providing logistics services.
This role will be a key member of the Star Glory Group Finance and Accounting team, and is responsible to develop, document and implement all financial business planning, budgeting, performance reviews and appraisals for the organisation to meet the short to long term company’s business and strategic needs. This role is expected to be hands-on to lead analysis of the company’s financial performance, to report on costs, productivity, margins and company expenditures to help improve the overall profitability of the company, down to Net Income Before Tax (NIBT) level.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures;
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance;
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis as and when required by stakeholders;
- Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports, partnering with the business in improving processes;
- Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports;
- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, menu pricing, new store rollouts as well as new projects;
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives;
- Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes;
- Supporting Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis;
- Prepare presentations to Management Team and Departments heads.

As Star Glory has fast expanding business plans with the need to have more people of talent who knows about the logistics and duty-free business, it is crucial that this role takes accountability to ensure that the company continues to be profitable, have robust cash flow and plans the appropriate financial funding’s for company for future expansion and success. This role ensures that the internal governance and controls are in place, and also works very closely with all other Functions to help them to manage their expenditure to meet the business plans.
