Job Description

• Manage and facilitate day-to-day cutting and milling operations as well as other production related activities in the factory. 
• Plan and assign daily job duties to workers. 
• Ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain proper 5’s, safety, and ISO practice in production operations.
• Recommend changes in workflow, operations and equipment to maximize production efficiency. 
• Work with Manager to analyse job orders and develop production tasks and schedule. 
• Provide on-the-job training to workers to meet production goals. 
• Investigate problems, analyse root causes and define resolutions. 
• Prepare monthly production report (output, capacity, efficiency, and etc.) 
• Other Duties as assigned from time to time. 
  
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Aptitude for numbers. 
• Well organised. 
• Experience in directing and supervising production personnel. 
• Possess technical knowledge and be adapt at all phases of the manufacturing processes. 
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Power Point, Word and Excel. 
• Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement. 
• Strong Customer Service mindset. 
• Ability to understand the cost containment and budgetary principles.
