About The Job

Financial Related 
  • To ensure Department’s Human Resource Manning and payroll are in line with the budget and is strictly controlled. 
  • To analyse and report the monthly Headcount, Turnover ratio, and Graph 
  • To ensure that employees’ salary are strictly adhered to and approval to be sought from the top management of any changes. 
  • To research and make salary comparisons with other F&B industries. 

HR Related 
To develop and implement human resource policies and procedures and all HR related management and administration of the workforce. 

Handles the recruitment and selection process and this will include: - 
  • Job Postings (via Newspaper Advertisement, Jobstreet, Recruitment Agencies,)
  • Conducts interviews (jointly with section heads or department heads) 
  • Conducts reference checks 
  • Administers offer of employment processes (from preparation of contracts through to employees reporting for duty)     
  • Conducts HR Orientation to new hires on HR policies 
  • Provides upward and lateral communications
  • Supports human resource management role and administration functions from induction of new hire through termination/cessation inclusive of counselling, guidance and policies compliance on employee relations, industrial relations (disciplinary issues) including that of conducting domestic inquiry. 
  • Administers the Quick Pay System in partnership with Finance. Maintenance of Human Resource database and supervises payroll matters through processing. Documentation and process flow in partnership with payroll unit. 
  • To ensure the HR team administers the registration of new hires (local and foreign) with Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and Social Security (SOCSO) authorities in conformance with legal requirements. 

Maintains constant communication with all levels of employees on management-employee related matters through: 
  • Posting of news/articles at the Staff Community Board 
  • Organizing of dialogue-sessions between management and employees 
  • Preparing and distributing of the quarterly employee newsletter (in progress)

Monitors and manage the overall employees’ welfare and facilities: 
  • Lockers for personal items during working hours
  • Hostel/Accommodation provision to staff 
  • Staff Annual Dinner & Dance/Trips 
  • Training Awards 
  • Works closely with the Board/Management on Foreign Workers 

Training Related 
  1. Coordinates internal training programs for the staff 
  2. Coordinates Outsourced external training 

Job Requirements

  1. Good proficiency English and Bahasa Malaysia
  2. SOP driven & Able to meet deadline 
  3. Good inter personal presentation, communication and leadership skills
  4. Possess impeccable grooming at all time 
  5. To be able to work with minimum supervision
