Job Description

The Applications Developer role requires excellent knowledge of at least one programming language and good understanding of various operating systems and platforms. The role usually involves working with other IT professionals to develop technical specifications and build, test, implement, and support software. Responsibilities include: -

Program development
Testing and deployment of programs
Maintenance and improvement of applications

Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a combination of related experience and education
Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
Basic knowledge in enterprise software applications, data processing and hardware platforms
Background in web technologies such as HTML, Javascript, Python, JSON, AJAX, and XML
Basic knowledge in GitHub and/or BitBucket
Basic knowledge in networking technologies
Logical approach to problem solving with strong analytical skills
Attention to detail
Tenacity and patience
Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
Good teamwork skills
Result oriented individual
Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours
