Job Description

Singapore Airlines is looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, self-motivated and professional to join our dynamic Sales team in our Kuala Lumpur city office. Being part of the Sales team in Malaysia, your primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):-

  • Running all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, sales campaign/meetings negotiations, account management for corporate accounts assigned to
  • Actively reach out to potential clients, corporate business referrals and existing base leads via email, cold calls or scheduled meetings to secure business opportunities
  • Register new sales opportunities, sales visitations and market updates electronically through Salesforce, ensuring it is included in reporting for sales forecasting activities
  • Provide timely and responsive feedback to Global Corporate Sales & Distribution department in Singapore and local teams in Malaysia on sales performance, market insights, and any issues from first contact with corporate account(s) to full onboarding of corporate account(s).
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate corporate account needs on an ongoing basis (with quarterly review meetings at minimum)
  • Organise corporate/sales focused events or campaigns to drive awareness and/or incremental sales through existing and new corporate account engagement
  • Prepare monthly summary report as and when required by Corporate Sales Manager
  • Take on additional duties and projects, as assigned by the Corporate Sales Manager, in support of company needs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum STPM / A-level / Diploma in any field
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in travel industry with proven track record in sales is required for Senior Sales Executive position
  • Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, sales leads and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in both oral and written English. Ability to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage
  • Adept at learning new sales tools
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, sales leads and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organisational, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Result oriented and able to perform under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Possess a car and valid driving license and willing to travel outstation for 10-20% of time.
