About The Job

We are looking for a qualified Account Executive to assist the Account Managers or Senior Managers in managing our direct clients and our partner advertising agency.

The assigned team will meet with clients to get a thorough understanding of their advertising and promotional needs, the budgets earmarked for these activities, target audience and other critical demographics, market and competition information and any other relevant details.

They then plan, propose, manage and coordinate advertising and promotional campaigns post client approval, track budgets and costs, and ensure that the projects run smoothly. Team members will stay in touch with the past clients and solicit new business by presenting proposals or pitches in collaboration with other members of the agency. 

The goal is to ensure the continuous development of our business activities and establish our agency as a leader in the industry. 

Job Requirements

As an advertising account executive, you'll need to:

  • meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements
  • work with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client's brief and budget
  • present (alongside the account manager) the campaign ideas and budget to the client
  • work with the account manager to brief media owner, or creative and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies
  • liaise with, and act as the link between, the client or the advertising agency and media owner by maintaining regular contact with both
  • ensure that communication flows effectively
  • negotiate with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns
  • learn about the clients’ industry and business activities to suggest more personalized solutions 
  • handle budgets, manage campaign costs and invoice clients
  • write client reports and make detailed proposal presentations justifying costs and schedules 
  • monitor the effectiveness of campaigns
  • undertake administrative tasks and keep records of clients
  • arrange and attend meetings
  • make pitches, along with other agency staff, with the aim of securing new business for the agency. 
An account executive must be:
