Job Description

  • Responsible to process monthly payroll timely and accurately. 
  • Liable to ensure the system functions are accurate and relevant to payroll process. 
  • Involve in data conversion activities, functional and integration testing, and other system implementation steps. 
  • Accountable to produce the necessary monthly payroll report and reconciliation.
  • Responsible to manage & update the staff leaves and medical slip records.
  • Responsible in monthly EPF, SOCSO and income tax contributions, ensuring compliance to the statutory requirements and datelines that are in practice. 
  • Accountable to ensure payroll profess are compliance to the statutory requirements and submission datelines are in practice. 
  • Ensure that changes to claims and benefits payout formulas are captured and changed accordingly in the system. 
  • Ensure employee welfare & benefits are administered in accordance with the terms & conditions of employment. 
  • Responsible to prepare pay slips for all employees. 
  • Accountable to draft and issue official letters pertaining the employee welfare and benefits as administered according to their entitlements. 
  • Liable to complete monthly, quarterly and year end payroll reporting including total compensation reports.
  • Assist the team to check processed payroll reports. 
  • Accountable to lead, monitor, correct and motivate team members to produce quality end results.
  • Liable to communicate issues and policies pertaining HR to all levels of management. 
  • Develop, execute, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure documentation for Payroll Process. 
  • Responsible to provide payroll related information for internal and external audits.
  • Assist and liaise with statutory party for payroll related issue.
  • Participate in departmental  
  • To assist the HR Manager or any officer nominated by the Company in the daily operations matter.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 2-4 year(s) of working experience in similar capacity is required for this position.
  • Required skill(s): payroll administration and management, payroll software, compensation and benefits, statutory contributions,  Employment Act 1955.
  • Verbal and written proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Candidates with additional proficiency in local dialects would have added advantage.
  • Detailed in processing numerical information.  
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Taman Mayang, Petaling Jaya.
  • Committed and able to meet payment deadlines.
  • Preferably applicants with own transport to travel for statutory offices and external meetings. Travel claims are provided.
  • 1 Full-Time position available.
