About The Job

  • Client Servicing. You will lead a team and become your clients’ go-to-digital marketing expert / consultant. Your client will rely on you for digital marketing advise, whether its strategic advice related to marketing plans or implementation advise related to the best platforms, channels, content or ad formats to deliver a certain brand message. You will need to have a strong business acumen to understand the clients’ needs and be resourceful / connected enough to present and offer solutions on-the-go. 
  • Account Team Management. You will be the leader of your team and be held accountable for your team’s responsibilities. You will be managing all given timelines and deliverables by every individual in your team across all working parties. You will also be managing your team’s financial goals and career paths / progressions, with guidance and support from the company. 
  • Research & Monitoring. Be curious. Be an avid Google searcher & researcher via any relevant digital tool to gather info & materials so you are familiar with the client’s target audience, business challenges and competitive landscape. Be vigilant in monitoring social media trends & conversations so that your team is aware and can pitch relevant opportunities to our clients. 
  • Pitching. Be an agency entrepreneur. Pitch digital marketing ideas that can improve and grow your clients’ businesses regularly, with or without a client brief. The more you succeed in this, the more your value grows in the company. There will be times where you’ll be pitching as part of a larger group (for new businesses), and there’ll be many more time where you’ll be pitching as the leader of your team for small wins with our existing clients. 
  • Management of Contest / Activations. Devise brilliant digital activation strategies and ideas (eg. Social media movements, sponsorships, contests & etc), which can address your clients’ needs and objectives. Manage implementation of these strategies and ideas by ensuring that all campaign stakeholders deliver according to their roles and responsibilities. 
  • Managing Ad Operations. Manage all ad campaigns set up by your team on Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube & etc. Your team will also be required to work with influencers and collaborate with online portals (eg. Says, Penmerah and etc) to co-create content with our clients. Within all these forms of advertising, you will need to ensure that your team monitors the campaigns and keep pitching opportunities for optimization to their clients.  
  • Managing Brand Pages on Facebook, Instagram & YouTube for popular brands. Your team will be in charge of content creation, daily updates on the respective brand pages, daily interaction with page comments & general customer service through collaborating with various specialists in our company (i.e. writers, designers, customer care specialists). 
  • Reporting & Analysis. Guide your team in constructing productive reports on a weekly / monthly / campaign basis to evaluate results & identify opportunities for optimization & improvement. 
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree. A degree in Advertising/Media, Mass Communications or equivalent will be an added bonus. 
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
  • Good in people management, leading a team and charting a path for all team members. 
  • Very inquisitive, creative & imaginative and able to translate one’s imagination into a compelling pitch to the clients via powerpoint slides or other equivalent formats. 
  • Active digital & social media user – shops online, searches a lot, uses various online services and tunes in to Facebook, Instagram & YouTube every day. 
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Malay fluently. 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools eg. Powerpoint, Word & Excel and Google Docs. 
  • Basic mathematics (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing getting averages)
  • Great attention for details / meticulous
  • Good in time management, handling multiple priorities and managing stress. 
  • Ability to maintain good judgement in a fast-paced environment.
