Job Description

• Perform administration and system management tasks for installation, configuration, logical and physical design, backup/restore, core services configuration and support. 
• Work with other technical team members that may consist of Project Managers, Developers, DBAs, Engineers, and other Application administrators to develop technical action plans and project schedules for deployment. 
• Maintain and investigate performance tuning improvement. Ensure compliance with strategic architecture and general computer controls.
• Perform Middleware and Web server administration, change management, and space management in all environments.
• Implement application backup and recovery processes.
• Perform and improvise application monitoring, and proactive management to prevent service interruptions, as well as perform system consistency checks.
• Schedule and perform Core Service application upgrades and support code deployments.
• Design and implement automation for  repetitive administrative tasks and performance monitoring.
• Develop documentation including operations manuals, procedures and problem resolution

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Middleware Application administration and performance tuning
• Knowledge in software coding, Java and .Net application codes is preferred
• Hands On knowledge in troubleshooting application related issues including installation and upgrades, performance degradation, and PL/SQL code issues. 
• UNIX and Linux Administration experience is a plus! 
• Database knowledge in DB2, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres / Enterprise DB is preferred
