Job Description
The E- Communication Specialist will manage and create digital content as a key member of QSES’ Business Technology department. This position will provide in-house HTML creation and webform development and maintenance.
The individual must demonstrate strong technical skills with HTML & CSS and an eye for clean and artful design — and be able to translate client requirements into functional email templates and designs. The ideal candidate will have a mastery of the fundamentals of a front-end developer and a strong desire to expand their skills and expertise.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Creates materials for use in student broadcasting activities, including website components, landing pages, web forms, and email campaigns across devices and platforms
- Designs and codes innovative, visually distinct email templates, and applies responsive/mobile-friendly best practices
- An interest in all aspects of the web form development lifecycle process – from strategy to testing and deployment
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Takes initiative, positive and has a “can do” attitude
Job Requirements
Expectations of the Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience
- Must have HTML/CSS, including latest standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of responsive/mobile-first design best practices
- Understanding of cross-browser testing and optimization
- Experience with eCRM and database products (Salesforce, Silverpop (preferred), Eloqua)
- Familiarity with Dreamweaver
- Knowledge of JavaScript, either editing or coding from scratch
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Experience in working with and influencing international teams (Australia, UK or USA) or international suppliers is advantageous.
