About The Job

The E- Communication Specialist will manage and create digital content as a key member of QSES’ Business Technology department. This position will provide in-house  HTML creation and webform development and maintenance. 
The individual must demonstrate strong technical skills with HTML & CSS and an eye for clean and artful design — and be able to translate client requirements into functional email templates and designs. The ideal candidate will have a mastery of the fundamentals of a front-end developer and a strong desire to expand their skills and expertise.  

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creates materials for use in student broadcasting activities, including website components, landing pages, web forms, and email campaigns across devices and platforms
  • Designs and codes innovative, visually distinct email templates, and applies responsive/mobile-friendly best practices
  • An interest in all aspects of the web form development lifecycle process – from strategy to testing and deployment
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Takes initiative, positive and has a “can do” attitude


Job Requirements

Expectations of the Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience
  • Must have HTML/CSS, including latest standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of responsive/mobile-first design best practices
  • Understanding of cross-browser testing and optimization
  • Experience with eCRM and database products (Salesforce, Silverpop (preferred), Eloqua)
  • Familiarity with Dreamweaver
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, either editing or coding from scratch
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Experience in working with and influencing international teams (Australia, UK or USA) or international suppliers is advantageous.
