Job Description

Responsible and accountable for: 
  • To connect with universities, colleges and other education institutions across an agreed portfolio in Asia (by telephone, email and in person when necessary) 
  • Build a strong pipeline to support achievement of revenue targets across the agreed territory 
  • Conduct lead sourcing and qualification of sales leads 
  • Conduct sales calls and articulate benefits and features of QS student recruitment products to prospective clients 
  • Present sales demonstrations to prospective clients; negotiate and close contracts (with support) 
  • Maintain thorough documentation of sales activity and information obtained during sales calls and presentations into NetSuite 
  • Provide timely forecasting to QS business stakeholders, with focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets 
  • Create integration between sales, marketing and client success teams to achieve a cohesive external message 
  • Convey information regarding prospective clients’ needs that are not met by current products to appropriate staff 

Job Requirements

Personal Requirements to Meet Position Objectives: 
  1. Min of 2 years’ experience in a high-energy sales role, experience of telephone engagement strongly preferred 
  2. Exceptional client skills 
  3. Commercial acumen and the ability to spot a business opportunity 
  4. Ability to deliver against financial targets 
  5. Highly competitive and self-motivated 
  6. Strategic thinker with effective time management skills 
  7. Ability to thrive in an independent setting, and as a member of a team as needed 
  8. Occasional travel required
