Job Description

• Develop end-to-end test cases to validate specific features and use cases for our Android and iOS apps and Web-Dashboards. 
• Create manual test plans, test data, procedures and automated test scripts and lead testing-related walk-throughs.
• Design, develop and troubleshoot automated test scripts to validate the technical and functional integrity of web and mobile based application components, requirements validation, verifying APIs and backend databases, integration, functional, regression, performance, usability and UI testing and resolve script errors.
• Collect, analyse and interpret test metrics and monitor debugging process results.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Document, analyse and track defects identified in testing and submit observations to the Technology team to collaboratively achieve a resolution.
• Work closely with other testers, product, design and development teams to create useful effective tests and integrate these test scripts into the CI environment.
• Write and deliver recommendations and status reports based on the test results and update the Project and Product teams regularly on the progress of testing activities.
• Consistently participate in product verification and validation and ensure that the test coverage of requirements includes ‘grey areas’ and that the test coverage expectations are met.
• Participate in release management activities. 
• Provide support to the Customer Experience team for reported customer or merchant related defects. 

Job Requirements

• A graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a directly related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in mobile application testing; Android and iOS and web testing.
• Completion of relevant technical or testing certifications with and a demonstrated software testing background.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and governance processes and procedures.
• Core competency in test scripting, either code-less test scripting or code-based test scripting with experience in various testing frameworks and automation testing tools and CI/CD tools.
• Has deep understanding in Behaviour-Driven Development (BBD) approach to testing and development.
• Good understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning.
• Exposure in the full lifecycle of mobile and web testing, from requirements gathering to production testing.
• Experience with bug tracking tools, defect tracking systems and test management tools. 
• Expertise in creating test cases and use cases from documented functional specifications for web and different mobile devices and operating systems; Android and iOS.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills is mandatory; along with the ability to work independently as well as across teams and in a fast pace environment.
• Experience in the banking domain would be an added advantage.
