About The Job

As a Business Development Executive, your responsibilities will focus on finding new markets for our sports related products, working with early adopting customers, engaging with our partner ecosystem, working to build repeatable solutions for our sales team to use to delight customers and to planning for future services and solutions. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Contribute To Building The Go-To-Market Plan. Help define the market segments, customers, and industries. Build a strategic business development plan for the target markets and ensure it is well aligned. Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc.).
  • Coordinate The Incubation and Launch of New Services. Be a part of the core team that works with the initial customers to ensure we have strong references at launch. Drive a plan to ensure sales and partner readiness. Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings.
  • Work With  Lighthouse Customer and Partners. Build a strong pipeline of customers who are working in key areas of the market or building new and interesting solutions. Work with these customers to become "lighthouse wins" of success.
  • Strategic Business Development - Focus on complex deals and develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years of business development experience
  • Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at the C level.
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results
  • Ability to prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team
  • Experience in working with customers – including negotiations, opportunity management, and relationship building.
  • Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals
  • Meticulous attention to detail: the ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
  • Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive level relationships
  • Excellent business judgment and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
  • Must be active in sports & fitness. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • An understanding of sports & technologies, especially at the edge is required.
  • Industry experience – for example in sports, Consumer Devices
  • Experience building Go-To-Market plans that scale across an organization
  • Experience with sales enablement activities.
  • Experience in sports & fitness
  • Passionate about improving/enriching the life of others through fitness.
  • Good sense of customer service, patience, responsibility and integrity.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales KPIs and service.
