Job Description

  • To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase in terms of quality, price, deliveries and services with suppliers.
  • To coordinate and execute purchasing activities and suppliers’ deliveries to meet Company’s requirement and expectation.
  • To ensure consistency of supply, on time delivery and purchase price.
  • To resolve situation such as shortage allocation, quality issue, late deliveries and other issues related to suppliers.
  • To explore new source of supply in the market, both locally or overseas.
  • Responsible for preparation of POs, Delivery Orders, Invoice, Quotation, etc.
  • To perform new material pricing and new supplier evaluation form.
  • To monitor suppliers’ delivery performance and conduct audit to suppliers when required.
  • Involve in cost savings activities.
  • Liaise with our main office in Singapore.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Studies/Administration Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of working experience with purchasing, logistics background.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Ability to manage and multi-task and work independently.
  • Meticulous to detail and committed.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialised in Purchasing/Inventory/Logistics/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
